The Sheetz Convenience Store chain is one that has been at the forefront of Convenience Store design. With innovative product displays and high visibility stores Sheetz is a leader in their field.

FCE has had the pleasure of working for Sheetz on numerous occasions across Central Pennsylvania.

The design challenges that occur with these types of stores is from the fact that they are usually on relatively confined properties with access onto State highways form multiple points. The developers usually like to get the most out of their sites whenever possible and place the largest size store that the site can accommodate. Stormwater runoff on a site that is almost fully developed is always a challenge and many of the Sheetz sites have required underground stormwater detention to control stormwater.
