FCE's experienced team of professionals prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) to identify potential environmental liabilities. The Phase I ESA's are performed in accordance with guidelines established by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). The purpose of the Phase I ESA is to identify environmental conditions associated with a property pursuant to the process identified by ASTM standards.
Phase I ESA’s generally consist of two levels of review:
- Site reconnaissance to determine any potential environmental liabilities of the property
- Historical records to determine, within the content of public information sources, any unseen liabilities
