Over
the years, many environmental problems have occurred as a result of
inappropriate planning. Although we cannot always predict the global
changes in our environment, we can address the environmental concerns
in our region. FCE addresses the issues by providing practical, cost-effective
solutions by using current technology that will help us contend with
the changes in our future.
FCEs experienced professionals prepare Phase I Environmental Site
Assessments (ESA) to identify potential environmental liabilities.
The Phase I ESAs are done in accordance with guidelines established
by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). They generally
consist of two levels of review:
Site
Reconnaissance: review of the property to determine potential environmental
liabilities, and
Historical
Records Review: to determine, within the content of public information
sources, any unseen liabilities.
