LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

CIVIL ENGINEER (EIT)

First Capital Engineering is a civil engineering firm located in historic York County, Pennsylvania.   • EIT certification
  • 0-2 years professional experience including land use planning, site design, utility design, preparation of plans and specifications, field surveys, municipal engineering, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management
  • Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Must possess excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of Municipal approval processes a plus.

PROJECT MANAGER

Summary:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • EIT, PE, or RLA registration/licensure
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the civil design and/or management of residential, commercial, and industrial development projects including:
  • Site Grading and Layout
  • Storm Drainage
  • Stormwater Management
  • Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan and BMPs
  • Water, Sewer, and Utilities
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Municipal Review and Approval Process

  • E&S Plans
  • Written and Oral Communication

LAND SURVEYOR

  • Prepare Surveys for field work
  • Process field work
  • Review and monitor field surveys
  • Prepare and Review CAD work, plots, and final surveys
  • Coordinate and assist in scheduling and preparing cost estimates under the supervision of the project surveyors
  • Assist in preparation of ALTA surveys including title review, preparation of meets and bounds descriptions and final quality control review
  • Project communication and coordination
  • Proven ability to prioritize the work of others in order to meet deadlines
  • Provide high quality service to clients
