Plum Creek: Interceptor Upgrade Project

First Capital Engineering provided project management and daily construction inspection services for the Hanover Borough Interceptor Upgrade project, the main sewer line for Hanover, PA.

This project involved laying 2.3 miles of pipe in order to expand the capacity of the system and avoid periodic flooding of the manholes. It was located in farmlands and wetlands, which required the constant diligence and attention of the inspector to environmental impacts The overall cost of construction was $8-10 million.

One or two members of the FCE team was on site daily to inspect the progress of the project. We prepared daily reports and provided photographs containing details that indicated the work that was accomplished, size of the crew, equipment and materials used and weather conditions.
