Need an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey?
In 2011, the First Capital Engineering team completed multiple ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys for various clients. Generally, these surveys are required by mortgage lenders and go with a title insurance policy.
An ALTA Survey is similar to a boundary survey however, it is prepared and completed with a set of consistent standards that were developed by the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the American Land Title Association. ALTA Surveys show the following:
- Boundaries
- Site Improvements
- Easements
- Right of ways
- Elements impacting land ownership
FCE will work with the client (buyer or seller), attorney and title company to inform them of any possible encroachments, problems, physical improvements or issues related to the legal description for the property or any of the adjacent properties.
