CEO Named Executive of the Year Finalist
First Capital Engineering, Inc. (FCE) CEO, Ann K. Luciani has been named one of six finalists in the 2011 Central Penn Business Journal’s Executive of the Year category.
The criteria for the award is that the nominee must have led his/her company to a position of strength in the marketplace either by way of growth through creativity, innovation, managerial ability and leadership skills or turnaround.
Since the inception of FCE with her husband John in 1995, Ann has led the company by mentoring all employees, thinking creatively, utilizing a team-oriented management style and leading by example. Her diligence and work ethic is recognized in the construction and engineering field.
“I am so grateful to be selected as a finalist for this award. I contribute my success to my family, friends, colleagues and wonderful employees, and am thankful to them for all they have done throughout the years,” said Ann. “Our employees and our commitment to our customers are what make First Capital Engineering a unique company.”
As FCE’s CEO, Ann encourages all of her employees to participate in community service throughout the Central PA region. She has found that her employees feel more engaged because they realize that not only does their technical input affect the outcome of the client’s job, but the entire Central PA community that they live in.
The Business of the Year Awards Ceremony will be held in November at the Hilton Harrisburg.
